About Me
I have been involved in the health and fitness industry for almost a decade now as an athlete, certified personal trainer, and now a Registered Massage Therapist. These skills and experiences have allowed me to better understand the many needs of an individual, from managing pain and injury to optimizing recovery for peak performance. Living and pushing through pain is common, but it shouldn't be the norm. Come in and see how the Peter Pressure Experience can help you.

COVID-19 Protocols
COVID-19 Information Dear all: As British Columbia is fighting the OMICRON variant of COVID-19, and at the recommendation of Dr. Bonnie Henry, we are switching to enhanced COVID protocols to minimize sickness and protect you and the therapists from contacting or spreading the virus. If you are sick, please do not continue to book a treatment at this time. We will, however, welcome you back as soon as you feel better. Should you have any questions about booking, please email your therapist directly (email is at the bottom of this page). Additionally, please be aware that: The massage therapy treatments involve some risk of COVID-19 transmission, and Our RMTs follow a protocol to reduce or mitigate risk, but that risk cannot be reduced to zero.
Pre-Screening Before each treatment, you will be required to complete a self-assessment at https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en Before the treatment, you will receive a phone call to ensure you do not show any COVID-19 symptoms and have completed the self-assessment above If you are a NEW PATIENT, complete the digital intake form available with your appointment confirmation e-mail IMMEDIATELY after booking, so contact tracing can be done efficiently if the need arises. TWO days (48 hours) before EACH treatment, you will receive a reminder e-mail. Within that e-mail, you will need to confirm your treatment AND complete the COVID-19 prescreening form by clicking the “COMPLETE COVID SCREENING” red button. We ask you to bring a facemask for your treatment, and we may check your temperature on arrival. Masks are now mandatory during your entire visit with us. We ask you to cancel your treatment if you have travelled outside the province in the past 14 days or showed symptoms, or came into contact with anyone who showed signs of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. If you are a high-risk patient or immunocompromised, you may be asked to cancel or postpone your treatment if the risk to you outweighs the benefit of the treatment. RMTs may ask you about extensive contacts with individuals outside the immediate family or work connections that may increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission. RMTs will cancel your treatment if you do not meet the prescreening criteria.
First Level Protection (Elimination) Arrive within 5 minutes of your treatment to ensure social distancing. If you arrive more than 5 minutes before your treatment you may need to wait before we can see you. Arriving too early puts other patients at risk. We limit the number of patients in the reception area to ONE for the duration of the pandemic. To ensure social distancing, we have standardized all treatment durations to 60-Minutes. The therapists are working staggered shifts to improve social distancing. The inside of the treatment room doors now displays a sign that requires you to knock before you leave the room. This ensures social distancing by confirming there is no other person in the lobby or the clinic when you leave the treatment room. To reduce the potential of transmission, we ask you to come for your treatment unaccompanied by family or friends. Prepayments may be required to shorten the amount of time you spend in the clinic post-treatment To limit unnecessary object touching, we recommend you pay your RMT directly by asking the therapist for direct billing with your insurance or via e-transfer.
Second Level Protection (Engineering Control) We have installed a sneeze shield in the reception area to create a physical barrier between receptionists and patients. We have eliminated the sitting area in the lobby, and access to the clinic is only going to be available 3-5 minutes before your treatment.
Third Level Protection (Administrative Measures) Several posters from BC’s Center for Disease Control have been posted on the clinic’s main door and the doors of each treatment room, by sinks, in the proximity of the reception desk and hand sanitation station, and both bathrooms on our floor. The garbage containers are foot-operated and labelled with “use foot pedal only” message to reduce surface touching. For the duration of the pandemic, we have eliminated the last-minute cancellation and the no-show fees when related to COVID-19 symptoms (to be taken in good faith). However, not completing the COVID-18 screening within the two-day requirement and failing to notify us about cancelling your appointment, may result in a charge to your account. Following the conclusion of your treatment, future appointments can be booked with your RMT in the treatment room. We have eliminated the water fountain, chocolate jar, business cards and all promotional items from the reception area. We have eliminated table warmers, extra padding and blankets from treatment rooms to reduce cross-contamination opportunities. All invoices will be e-mailed to you by your RMT, and no printed invoices are available. As we do not control the common areas in the building, we ask you to use them with caution, understanding the increased possibility of virus transmission.
Fourth Level Protection (PPE) All therapists will be wearing PPE as per the Provincial Health Officer’s requirements or as mandated by the College of Massage Therapists of BC. Masks are now mandatory during your entire visit with us.
